I am passionate about motivating people to love and embrace their natural hair. Transitioning from relaxed to natural hair after being chemically processed for over ten years, proved to be the most vulnerable yet enlightening journey I could have embarked upon. As I began educating myself about my hair, I developed an intimate understanding of the history behind my hair; its roots, its personality and most importantly its cry for help. I truly believe that getting to know and love oneself, honouring traditions and having self-care routines that foster balance and wellbeing make life more enriching, fun and interesting. I'm a lover of fine but practical tools and products that enhance both the physical and emotional self. I love trying new hair and beauty products and I want to help others learn how to grow, appreciate, and retain their natural hair. I created My Great Hair Company to be a platform where diversity is celebrated and welcomed. I was purposed to make a difference through a matter rooted in neglect. I've met many awesome professionals who have shared their expertise in caring for curly, ethnic diverse or texture hair and learnt so much from them.
